Suicide Prevention Month

September is suicide prevention month. We have all been or know someone who has been affected by suicide. Because of this, we wanted to highlight some of the things Farmers Cooperative has to offer and some other resources that are available.

The first thing we want to highlight is Employee Connect. Employee Connect is a free service to all Farmers Cooperative employees and dependents offered through Lincoln Financial. Employee Connect offers a few different services.

• In person help with a counselor (up to five sessions per person, per issue, per year)
• In-person consultations with network lawyers, including one free 30 minute in person consultation
• Legal information and referrals for family law, estate planning, consumer and civil law
• Financial guidance on household budgeting and short- and long-term planning

Employee Connect counselors are experienced and credentialed. These services are also confidential. To find more information, you can refer to the attached guide or reach out to Human Resources for more information.
